Hospital Ampang, established under Malaysia’s 7th Economic Plan, is a key medical facility spanning 10 acres. Gradually opening its doors in April 2006, it serves as a National Referral Center for Hematology, providing tertiary and secondary medical care. Comprising an 8-story main block, a 4-story Nurses’ Hostel, a 5-story Parking Block, and 3 Staff Quarters, the hospital boasts 701 beds and pioneered the use of the Total Hospital Information System. Strategically located in Taman Pandan Mewah, Ampang, it offers an alternative medical hub at the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur.
