BIG CARiNG Group is Malaysia’s largest retail pharmacy group, established in 2023 through the merger of BIG Pharmacy Healthcare and Caring Pharmacy Group. With a network of over 600 stores nationwide, the group integrates leading brands such as BIG Pharmacy, CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy, Ting Pharmacy, and Wellings Pharmacy, serving millions of customers across the country. BIG Pharmacy, founded in 2016 by pharmacists Lee Meng Chuan and Lim Sin Yin, and Caring Pharmacy Group, established in 1994, together form a strong foundation for the group’s market leadership. Today, the organization supports approximately 6.5 million loyalty members and manages around 4.5 million monthly transactions, reflecting its significant scale and reach.
BIG CARiNG Group is leveraging digital tools such as Lark to improve internal communication and operational efficiency. Strategically, the group has partnered with Japan’s B&S Corporation and Taiwan’s Great Tree Pharmacy to strengthen its presence in preventive healthcare and expand across Asia. Looking ahead, the company is reportedly planning an Initial Public Offering (IPO) in Kuala Lumpur by 2026, targeting an estimated valuation of approximately RM20 billion (USD 4.8 billion).
