Hospital Labuan is a healthcare facility situated on the beautiful island of Labuan in East Malaysia, near Sabah. It was established on October 10, 1991, and completed on January 29, 1995. The hospital operates on the concept of a nucleus. Covering approximately 12,047 hectares, with a building area of 31,969 square meters, it officially started operating on June 10, 1995. Former Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad inaugurated it on August 29, 1996. With an initial capacity of 109 beds, it was later increased to 122 beds in 2014. Hospital Labuan offers specialized services with a team of over 650 staff, including medical specialists, medical officers, nurses, and administrative personnel.
