Over the years, it has undergone upgrades and expansions, with the current hospital building inaugurated in 1974, boasting 91 official beds.

Located just 2 KM from Pekan Ranau, the hospital spans 14.9 acres of land, further expanded by 4 acres in 2004. Equipped with essential amenities such as clean water supply, electricity, and well-maintained roads, Hospital Ranau has been a healthcare beacon in the region.
