Established in 2019, Hospital Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah UPM (HSAAS), formerly known as the University of Malaysia Teaching Hospital (HPUPM), stands as a testament to medical excellence. Officiated by Sultan Sharafudin Idris Shah AlHaj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah AlHaj on February 28, 2023, HSAAS spans 38.4 hectares with 400 beds, 17 wards, and extensive amenities. As a teaching hospital for UPM Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, HSAAS is committed to training health professionals, conducting advanced diagnostic research, and offering outpatient services in various specialties. Notably, it hosts the Center for Clinical Excellence, focusing on Stroke Emergency Response, Prostate Care, Advanced Geriatric Care, and Zoonosis research.
