Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah (HSNZ), formerly known as Hospital Kuala Terengganu, stands as a prominent landmark in Kuala Terengganu. Positioned strategically along the Batu Buruk Beach, it covers 21.09 hectares, facing the State Stadium (West), adjacent to the Al-Muktafi Billah Shah Mosque (North), and bordered by the State Hockey Stadium & Aquatic Complex (South). Renamed by Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin in 2006, HSNZ is a referral hospital for district hospitals and health clinics across Terengganu. Its history dates back to the 1920s, evolving from wooden structures to an 8-storey building completed in 1983. With a mission to enhance healthcare quality, HSNZ focuses on expert services, skill development, efficient resource management, and customer satisfaction.
