Founded on August 18, 1961, the original Limbang Hospital, now serving as the Drug Laboratory and Storage Section, underwent significant growth. The new Limbang Hospital, inaugurated on June 29, 1980, at a cost of RM 4.912 million and spanning 7.8 hectares, reflects progress. In 2017, a dedicated staff of 279, including 19 Medical Officers, 1 Obstetrics Specialist, and 2 Radiology Specialists, serves the community.
