Mahsuri Medical Centre
Overview
Mahsuri Medical Centre (MMC), also known as “MMC,” commenced operations in October 1996. From its origins as a polyclinic catering to obstetrics and normal childbirth, it evolved into a maternity hospital in 2003. Serving initially the local residents of Kedah, MMC expanded its reach to Langkawi and beyond, covering states like Perlis, Pulau Pinang, and Perak. The expansion was driven by MMC’s focused services, ranging from normal antenatal examinations to perinatal care. On August 1, 2011, MMC underwent a transition in ownership to Koperasi Guru-Guru Melayu Kedah Berhad (KGMKB). Under the new management team of KGMKB, MMC continually enhances its services, aiming to maintain its leadership in the northern region’s market. With a blend of KGMKB’s energy, work culture, and dedication, coupled with MMC’s established reputation, the institution remains poised to dominate the healthcare market in the northern region.
