Resident Doctor

ANSON ERA MEDIC SDN BHD is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Resident Doctor to provide quality medical care, assess patients’ health conditions, and develop appropriate treatment plans. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong clinical skills, professional ethics, and a commitment to patient well-being.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records, including medical histories, clinical assessments, medications, treatments, allergies, diagnostic results, and follow-up notes.
• Assess patients’ symptoms, evaluate their medical conditions, and determine appropriate diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with applicable Malaysian laws, clinical guidelines, and professional standards. Explain potential side effects, risks, and possible drug interactions to patients.
• Supervise and support Medical Assistants, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, clinical protocols, and patient care standards.
• Monitor patients’ progress and the effectiveness of treatment plans, making adjustments when necessary to improve health outcomes.
• Educate patients on healthy lifestyle practices, including proper nutrition, physical activity, personal hygiene, and preventive healthcare.
• Build positive relationships with patients through clear communication, compassionate care, and guidance that supports informed healthcare decisions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, safe, and effective patient care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with medical ethics, clinic policies, and relevant healthcare regulations.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine or an equivalent recognised medical qualification.
• Valid registration with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
• Possess a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• Completion of compulsory medical service, as required for the position.
• Good knowledge of general medicine, patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a healthcare team.
• Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, responsibility, and a strong commitment to patient safety.
• Good clinical documentation and time-management skills.
