Aurelius Hospital Negeri Sembilan is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Medical Officer to join our growing clinical team. As a Medical Officer, you will play a key role in assessing, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of medical conditions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, examinations, and clinical evaluations.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in accordance with established clinical guidelines.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions safely and appropriately.
Provide preventive healthcare advice and patient education.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records.
Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care.
Respond effectively to medical emergencies and acute care situations.
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous professional development activities.
Contribute to the enhancement of hospital services, policies, and patient care standards.
Requirements
Recognized Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
Full registration and valid license to practice medicine in Malaysia.
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Commitment to patient-centred care, professionalism, and ethical medical practice.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Adaptable and capable of performing in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Prior experience in a hospital or emergency department setting will be an added advantage.
