General Practitioner
Job Description
Cellaax is seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner (GP) to provide patient-centred medical care, conduct clinical assessments, and support safe, evidence-based treatment decisions. The successful candidate will play an important role in patient evaluation, health counselling, clinical documentation, and coordination with the wider healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient consultations, medical assessments, and clinical evaluations.
Diagnose common medical conditions and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
Prescribe medications and provide clear medical advice in accordance with applicable guidelines.
Perform basic medical procedures within the scope of practice.
Assess patients’ suitability for treatment through appropriate medical screening and evaluation.
Educate patients about their health conditions, treatment options, and preventive healthcare.
Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential patient medical records.
Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.
Follow applicable clinical protocols, medical ethics, infection-control practices, and patient-safety standards.
Support clinical activities and undertake other relevant responsibilities assigned by management.
Requirements & Qualifications
Recognised Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent medical qualification.
Valid registration with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
Valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient-management skills.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-counselling skills.
Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics, patient safety, and quality healthcare.
Previous clinical experience is an advantage.
An interest in regenerative medicine and emerging therapeutic approaches would be beneficial.
