Job Description
We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and dedicated Medical Laboratory Technologist (U5) to join our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities
Perform laboratory testing and diagnostic procedures in accordance with established medical and safety standards.
Handle, process, and analyse patient specimens with precision and confidentiality.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment effectively.
Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and maintenance of laboratory records.
Adhere to quality assurance protocols, infection control policies, and laboratory compliance requirements.
Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
Monitor laboratory inventory, reagents, and supplies to ensure smooth daily operations.
Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related healthcare field.
Registered and recognised by relevant healthcare or professional authorities (where applicable).
Strong technical knowledge in laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing.
Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
