Breast & Endocrine Surgeon

Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Breast & Endocrine Surgeon to join our multidisciplinary Breast Care Centre. The role involves providing comprehensive surgical and clinical care for patients with breast and endocrine conditions, working closely with a team of oncologists, radiologists, plastic surgeons, and allied health professionals to deliver holistic patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
– Diagnose and manage breast and endocrine conditions and perform relevant surgical procedures including breast and endocrine surgeries.
– Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) discussions for treatment planning
– Collaborate with clinical oncologists on chemotherapy, radiotherapy, hormonal, and targeted therapies
– Provide pre-operative counselling and post-operative care
– Support breast cancer screening and early detection programs (e.g., mammography)
– Work closely with radiology services, including ultrasound and imaging review (PACS)
– Engage with patients empathetically, addressing psychological and emotional needs
– Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital protocols

Requirements:
– Minimum 3 years’ post-subspecialty training in Breast and Endocrine Surgery. Registrars and Specialists who have recently completed training are welcome to connect with us.
– Valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC), Fully Registered with Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and National Specialist Register of Malaysia (NSR)
