Clinical Oncologist
Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a Clinical Oncologist to join our established Oncology Centre, providing comprehensive cancer care through a multidisciplinary approach. The role involves delivering evidence-based oncology treatments while working closely with surgeons, radiologists, and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
– Diagnose and manage patients with various cancers using systemic and radiation-based therapies
– Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, hormonal, and targeted therapies
– Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) discussions for holistic cancer care
– Provide patient counselling on diagnosis, treatment options, side effects, and supportive care
– Monitor treatment response and manage complications or side effects
– Collaborate with surgeons and other specialists for integrated cancer management
– Support early detection, screening, and prevention initiatives
– Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital protocols
Requirements
– Minimum 3 years’ post-specialty training in Clinical Oncology. Registrars and specialists who have recently completed training are welcome to apply or connect with us.
– Valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC), Fully Registered with Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and National Specialist Register of Malaysia (NSR)
