About the Role
Klinik Allevia Sungai Besi is looking for a dedicated and motivated Resident Doctor to join our team on a full-time basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality primary healthcare, managing patients’ medical needs and supporting the clinic’s daily operations while maintaining high standards of clinical practice and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct patient consultations, physical examinations, diagnosis and appropriate medical treatment.
• Manage common primary care conditions and provide initial assessment and management of emergency cases within the scope of practice.
• Perform health screenings and interpret relevant diagnostic test results.
• Provide appropriate patient counselling on medical conditions, treatment options and preventive healthcare.
• Recommend suitable health screening packages, vaccinations and other healthcare services based on patients’ clinical needs.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with Ministry of Health (MOH) requirements, Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) guidelines and clinic SOPs.
• Collaborate with Clinic Assistants and other healthcare team members to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Contribute to clinic performance targets through ethical, patient-centred healthcare recommendations.
Requirements
• MBBS or an equivalent medical qualification recognised in Malaysia.
• Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
• Possess a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• Experience in primary care, emergency management and minor procedures is an advantage.
• Experience in clinic operations or healthcare service delivery is an added advantage.
• Good communication, consultation and patient counselling skills.
• Professional, responsible and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in a 24-hour clinic.
