Sonographer Cum Clinic Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and support daily clinic operations. The role involves ensuring accurate imaging, maintaining equipment, and delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

-Monitor ultrasound examinations by reviewing images on the video screen, ensuring diagnostic quality and consistency, and making
necessary adjustments to the equipment.
-Observe and provide care for patients during examinations, prioritizing their safety and comfort.
-Prepare detailed examination reports to assist the doctor in monitoring pregnancies and diagnosing conditions such as cardiac,
abdominal, ophthalmic, vascular, and other disorders.
-Perform routine quality control checks on ultrasound equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly, making minor repairs and
adjustments as needed.
-Assist with patient registration, updating waiting times, and directing patients to the appropriate consultation rooms.
-Support doctors during patient examinations and routine medical procedures.
-Help prepare and dispense medications as prescribed by the doctor.
-Assist with clinical procedures and operate medical equipment with care and professionalism.
-Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries promptly and accurately.
-Monitor and manage the inventory of medical supplies and medications.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinic environment.
-Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

-Diploma/Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
-Certified Sonographer (e.g., ARDMS) or eligible for certification.
-BLS/CPR certification.
-At least 1 year of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.
-Additional sonography certifications (e.g., OB-GYN, musculoskeletal) are an advantage.
-Medical Assistant experience is a plus.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills.
-Able to multitask and solve problems effectively.
-Professional, well-groomed, and patient-focused.
-Own transport and willing to work shifts.
