The clinic is seeking a caring, responsible, and motivated General Practitioner to join its team on a permanent basis.
Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated General Practitioner to provide comprehensive outpatient care for adults and children. The successful candidate will conduct medical consultations, perform health screenings, manage common medical conditions, and carry out minor procedures while ensuring patient safety and high standards of clinical care.
Both experienced doctors and doctors looking to develop their careers in general practice are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct general outpatient consultations and provide medical care for adult and paediatric patients.
• Assess symptoms, perform clinical examinations, diagnose common medical conditions, and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide preventive healthcare services and health screenings, including ProtectHealth-related programmes and FOMEMA medical examinations, as applicable.
• Perform minor medical procedures, wound dressings, vaccinations, and IV infusions within the scope of practice.
• Prescribe medications and provide appropriate medical advice in accordance with clinical guidelines.
• Educate patients on disease prevention, medication use, and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records.
• Work closely with nurses and front-desk staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and a positive patient experience.
• Follow applicable medical regulations, professional ethics, infection-control procedures, and patient-safety standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Recognised MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
• Full registration with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
• Valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient-management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A caring, responsible, and patient-focused approach to healthcare.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.
• Both experienced General Practitioners and doctors newer to general practice are welcome to apply.
