Job Description

We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership & Patient Care
Lead and support a team of clinicians in delivering high-quality Occupational Therapy services and patient-centered rehabilitation care.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate physical, cognitive, emotional, and functional abilities.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at optimizing rehabilitation outcomes and improving patient independence in daily living activities.
Deliver advanced occupational therapy interventions, rehabilitation programs, and therapeutic treatments aligned with clinical best practices.
Rehabilitation Planning & Outcome Management
Plan, coordinate, and prioritize therapy interventions to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes while supporting departmental and organizational objectives.
Monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and modify rehabilitation strategies to maximize recovery and functional performance.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
Clinical Excellence & Best Practice Standards
Ensure occupational therapy services are delivered in accordance with established clinical standards, protocols, and evidence-based best practices.
Maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and service quality within the occupational therapy department.
Support continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
Mentorship & Team Development
Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional guidance to junior occupational therapists and clinical staff.
Foster a collaborative learning environment that encourages clinical excellence, professional growth, and knowledge sharing.
Assist in strengthening team capabilities to maintain service excellence and patient satisfaction.
Administrative & Professional Responsibilities
Maintain accurate clinical documentation, treatment records, and patient progress reports in accordance with healthcare standards.
Ensure compliance with professional regulations, ethical standards, and departmental procedures.
Contribute to departmental initiatives, service improvements, and organizational goals when required.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent recognized qualification.
Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in occupational therapy or rehabilitation settings.
Active membership with the Malaysia Occupational Therapist Association (MOTA).
Strong clinical, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for rehabilitation, patient care, and continuous professional development.
