Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and highly skilled Licensed Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications, providing professional pharmaceutical care, and delivering exceptional patient support. The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving patient health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Review and accurately execute physician prescriptions, ensuring appropriateness, legality, and correct dosage.
Dispense medications and provide clear guidance on proper medication use, dosage, and potential side effects.
Deliver patient-centered pharmaceutical care by understanding customer needs and offering professional advice and recommendations.
Maintain an organized pharmacy system for efficient product identification, stocking, labeling, and inventory management.
Monitor medication storage conditions and ensure products are properly maintained to prevent expiration or deterioration.
Provide basic healthcare support, including blood pressure, temperature monitoring, injections, and other pharmacy-related services, when applicable.
Prepare medications accurately according to prescribed dosages and patient requirements.
Maintain accurate records of patient medication history and pharmacy activities.
Stay updated with advancements in pharmacy and healthcare practices through continuous learning and professional collaboration.
Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies related to pharmaceutical services.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy/Pharmacology or equivalent qualification.
Valid Professional License to practice as a Pharmacist.
Proven experience as a Pharmacist is preferred.
Strong knowledge of dosage administration, pharmaceutical products, medical brands, and medication safety.
Proficiency in MS Office and Pharmacy Information Systems (e.g., MediTech, Mediware, or similar platforms).
Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
High level of integrity, compassion, and professionalism.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to patient safety and quality healthcare.
