Roles & Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians in conducting examinations and consultations including vision tests, taking height and weight, understanding chief complaints, perusing medical history and taking vital signs of students, employees, faculty of EAC and UPSI/Pearl Manila Hotel.
• Assisting in conducting physical examinations for varied demographics including pre-enrollment, pre-employment, and varsity player examinations.
• Administering vaccinations including Hepatitis B vaccine to students, Influenza and Pneumococcal vaccines to employees and faculty, and Hepatitis A and Typhoid vaccines EAC food handlers and cook.
• Providing requisitions of medicines and supplies and ensuring upkeep of facilities.
• Initiating and organizing health activities and programs with the school physician: including blood letting, earthquake and disaster readiness drills.
• Checking the hygiene standards of the food court, food handlers and other facilities of the school.
• Assisting in disseminating health information within the institution.

Requirements

• Proficiency in nursing procedures and protocols.
• Excellent competency and knowledge in administering various physical examinations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to assist in the organization of health activities and programs.
• Ability to multi-task and deal with emergency situations effectively.
• Experience in handling medical supplies and requisitions.
