EMT Nurse
Job Description
As an EMT Nurse at Fe Del Mundo Medical Center, you will play a vital role in responding to emergency calls, providing immediate care to critically ill and injured patients, and safely transporting them to the hospital. You will deliver high-quality patient care, offer critical support, and conduct evaluations in pre-hospital settings, including on the scene and during transportation to the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess the nature and severity of the patient’s condition.
Administer essential medical interventions and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
Safely and efficiently transport patients to the hospital while ensuring their comfort and stability.
Collaborate with emergency medical teams and communicate patient information effectively.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of care provided.
Regularly check and maintain emergency medical equipment and supplies.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse with a valid license.
Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
Minimum of one year of related experience as an EMT Nurse.
Required Trainings: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Training Advanced/Paramedic Training, Standard First Aid training, Basic Life Support (BLS). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is advantageous.
Strong communication skills and the ability to make critical judgments and decisions.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
