Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Licensed Medical Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will perform a variety of laboratory tests, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide exceptional patient care in drug testing and general laboratory services.

Key Responsibilities:
Drug Testing:
Specimen Collection:

Prepare and secure all necessary supplies and records for specimen collection.
Receive and verify the donor’s identification using the CCF (Custody and Control Form).
Explain the collection procedure to donors and ensure compliance with protocols.
Collect specimens one at a time, handle them correctly, and prepare necessary documentation (e.g., MFR forms).
Ensure accurate patient records in IDTOMIS (Drug Testing System).
Specimen Analysis:

Conduct drug testing using DOH-authorized equipment and software.
Prepare and process specimens for analysis while ensuring proper labeling and handling.
Communicate with accredited confirmatory labs for further analysis of positive results.
Maintain confidentiality of results and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Perform equipment maintenance and maintain records of laboratory operations.
General Laboratory Tasks:
Perform laboratory tests across multiple sections, including:
Hematology
Clinical Microscopy/Parasitology
Clinical Chemistry/Immunology
Cytology/Histopathology
Bacteriology
Drug Testing
Collect and prepare blood, urine, and tissue samples while following standard precautions.
Ensure quality control and traceability for all specimens.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to safety protocols.
Monitor inventory, calibrate equipment, and maintain regular preventive maintenance schedules.
Provide accurate results and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications:
Licensed Medical Technologist with up-to-date DOH-NRL drug test training.
1–2 years of experience in a hospital or clinic laboratory setting preferred.
Proficient in performing various laboratory tests and operating lab equipment.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills in English and Filipino.
Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
