Sonographer

Job Description:

• Set up examination rooms and ensure all necessary equipment is ready for ultrasound procedures.
• Obtain detailed and accurate patient medical histories to aid in diagnosis.
• Explain the ultrasound procedure to patients, providing support and addressing their queries.
• Apply ultrasound gel and operate machines to capture images of internal organs.
• Program and adjust the scanner for specific procedures, ensuring comprehensive image capture.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and sterilize procedure rooms.

Qualifications: I. Education, License & Certification:

• Graduate of BS in Radiologic Technology; preferably with a valid PRC license.

II. Work Experience:

• Preferably with 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.

III. Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong technical and patient service skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

IV. Qualities & Traits:

• Compassionate and committed to delivering a superb patient experience.
• Attentive to details and highly organized.
• A positive team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Ability to work in a rotational shifting schedule (6 am – 10 pm clinic operation).
