Job Description
Maxicare Healthcare Corporation is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Registered Radiologic Technologist to join our Primary Care team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services through accurate and timely X-ray examinations. Working collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, you will help support clinical decision-making while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional care throughout the imaging process.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnostic Imaging & Patient Care
Perform high-quality X-ray procedures in accordance with established clinical protocols and physician requests.
Ensure patient safety, dignity, and comfort throughout the diagnostic imaging process.
Properly position patients and provide clear instructions to obtain optimal imaging results.
Educate patients regarding procedures and address concerns to promote a positive healthcare experience.
Clinical Collaboration
Collaborate effectively with physicians and healthcare teams to facilitate timely and accurate diagnoses.
Support the delivery of efficient and patient-centered healthcare services through coordinated communication and teamwork.
Radiation Safety & Equipment Management
Adhere strictly to radiation protection standards, infection control practices, and organizational safety policies.
Operate X-ray equipment proficiently while ensuring compliance with quality assurance guidelines.
Conduct routine equipment checks and assist in identifying and troubleshooting basic technical issues to maintain operational efficiency.
Documentation & Administrative Support
Maintain accurate patient records, imaging documentation, and radiology logs in accordance with institutional standards and regulatory requirements.
Perform administrative duties related to radiology services, including data entry, report processing, and record management.
Ensure the confidentiality and security of patient information at all times.
Qualifications
Education & Licensure
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology.
Must hold a valid PRC license as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT/RXT).
Knowledge & Skills
Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning techniques, human anatomy, and radiation safety principles.
Proficient in operating X-ray equipment and performing basic troubleshooting procedures.
Tech-savvy with strong documentation and organizational skills.
Computer proficient and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Calm, adaptable, and able to perform efficiently under pressure.
Willing to work rotational shifts, including graveyard schedules, within a five-day workweek with varying rest days.
