Job Description
Poly Health Diagnostic and Laboratory Inc. is seeking a competent and patient-focused Sonographer / Radiologic Technologist to join our diagnostic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, supporting physicians in diagnostic procedures, and ensuring the timely release of accurate imaging results.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare ultrasound examination rooms, equipment, and necessary supplies prior to each procedure.
Operate ultrasound equipment in accordance with established diagnostic protocols, professional standards, and safety guidelines.
Perform sonographic procedures while ensuring patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the examination process.
Assist radiologists and physicians during specialized procedures, including vascular ultrasound examinations and ultrasound-guided biopsies.
Explain examination procedures to patients, address their concerns, and provide clear instructions to facilitate successful imaging studies.
Assess and accurately document anatomical structures and pathological findings during ultrasound examinations.
Differentiate between normal and abnormal sonographic findings and promptly communicate significant observations to the attending physician or radiologist.
Monitor patients during procedures and immediately report any unusual reactions or changes in condition.
Ensure the proper care, maintenance, and functionality of sonography equipment, and promptly report any technical issues or repair requirements.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is complete, confidential, and compliant with organizational standards.
Facilitate the timely processing and release of ultrasound results to support efficient patient care.
Perform administrative responsibilities, including responding to inquiries, preparing monthly census reports, managing inventories, and organizing patient records and related documents.
Undertake other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by management from time to time.
Qualifications
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology or any related healthcare program.
Must possess a valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) License as a Radiologic Technologist.
Relevant experience in diagnostic ultrasound and sonography is preferred.
Knowledge and hands-on experience in performing various sonographic examinations will be an advantage.
Strong understanding of ultrasound procedures, anatomy, pathology, and patient safety principles.
Excellent analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to recognize and escalate abnormal findings appropriately.
Demonstrates compassion, professionalism, and a patient-centered approach to care.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical examination.
