Staff Nurse
Job Description
The Staff Nurse will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our community.
- Assess nursing care needs and problems of patients at the start of duty.
- Create planned standards of care with established standard care for assigned group of patients.
- Coordinate the medical care plan with the nursing care plan, interpret doctors’ orders to achieve the most effective results, and relate doctors’ orders to appropriate nursing measures.
- Assist the physician during rounds.
- Communicate needs of the patient and problems to the head nurses, supervisors, and doctors as necessary.
- Record subjective and objective complaints of patients, nursing care implemented, procedures done, and evaluation of nursing care.
- Conduct proper endorsement at the end of the shift for the continuity of patient care.
- Conduct health teachings/instructions to patients and relatives.
- Promote and maintain good interpersonal relationships with the medical staff and personnel of other departments, patients, families, and the public.
- Participate in studies and research programs conducted in the nursing unit.
Work Schedule:
- Shifting Schedules
- Must fulfill 80 hours of duty per cutoff
Salary and Benefits:
