MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Technologist to join our dynamic laboratory team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering accurate and timely laboratory results while ensuring compliance with quality standards and supporting continuous improvement in laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities
Administrative
Assist the Senior Medical Technologist in preparing monthly performance reports, reagent utilization reports, and other departmental reports.
Support documentation, inventory management, and administrative activities within the assigned laboratory section.
Contribute to monthly census reports, laboratory charges, and expense monitoring.
Technical
Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in accordance with established protocols and quality standards.
Conduct preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of laboratory instruments and equipment.
Monitor reagent inventory and ensure the availability of high-quality laboratory supplies.
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results through proper quality control procedures.
Oversee the proper collection, processing, handling, and storage of laboratory specimens.
Maintain organized filing and documentation of laboratory records and test results.
Assist in the evaluation and validation of new laboratory equipment, methods, and procedures.
Serve as Officer-in-Charge of the assigned laboratory section during the absence of the Section Head.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology (BS Medical Technology).
Must be a Registered/Licensed Medical Technologist (RMT).
Minimum of one (1) year of relevant laboratory experience.
Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, quality assurance, and equipment operation.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
