Job Description
The Clinical Manager will oversee all clinical functions and operations of We Hope Medical Group to ensure that patient care is delivered efficiently, safely, and with high quality. This role is both strategic and operational: managing clinical staff, optimizing workflows, ensuring compliance with health regulations, maintaining financial / service performance goals, and fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and coordinate all clinical operations (e.g., patient flow, scheduling, staffing, equipment usage) to ensure efficient and patient-centered care.
Oversee hiring, training, performance evaluation, professional development of clinical staff (doctors, nurses, allied health personnel).
Ensure compliance with relevant national health regulations, licensing requirements, accreditation standards, and internal clinical protocols.
Establish and monitor clinical KPIs (e.g. patient waiting time, adverse events, patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes) and prepare periodic reports for senior leadership.
Manage clinical budgets and resource allocation (supplies, equipment, medication), ensuring cost-effective delivery of services.
Oversee inventory management and procurement of clinical supplies, ensuring adequate stock, quality control, and cost containment.
Maintain high standards of patient safety, infection control, clinical hygiene and environment of care.
Collaborate with other departments (administration, finance, HR, marketing) to support institutional goals and ensure integrated operations.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives — process reviews, workflow reengineering, staff feedback, quality assurance, and patient feedback.
Ensure effective communication with patients and families regarding clinical care, complaints resolution, patient satisfaction.
Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation, medical records, and ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with privacy laws.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Medicine, or any allied health field. A master’s degree or further training in healthcare management is preferred.
Licensure / registration as required in the Philippines for clinical practice (e.g., Registered Nurse / Medical Doctor license).
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership / supervisory role in a healthcare setting (clinic, hospital, or medical group).
Proven track record in managing clinical operations, staff, budgets, and compliance.
Strong understanding of Philippine health regulations, accreditation (e.g., DOH, PhilHealth), patient safety, and quality improvement standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, healthcare software, and basic financial principles.
