Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner (GP) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within a modern primary care setting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and enhancing the overall patient experience through evidence-based clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnose, manage, and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
Deliver preventive healthcare services, including health screenings, immunizations, and lifestyle counseling to promote long-term wellness.
Perform minor medical procedures within the scope of primary care practice.
Review and interpret diagnostic investigations, including laboratory and imaging results, to formulate appropriate treatment plans.
Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive medical records using the clinic’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Foster strong doctor–patient relationships to ensure continuity of care while adhering to organizational policies and clinical standards.
Educate patients on disease prevention, medication adherence, health screening, vaccination programs, and healthy lifestyle modifications.
Provide empathetic, personalized, and patient-focused care aligned with the clinic’s commitment to excellence and hospitality.
Collaborate closely with pharmacists and allied healthcare professionals to deliver integrated and multidisciplinary care.
Support digital healthcare initiatives through telehealth services, including teleconsultations, remote patient management, blood test reporting, and electronic prescription services (EPS).
Coordinate referrals and ensure seamless transitions of care with secondary and tertiary healthcare providers, including specialists when required.
Adhere to established treatment guidelines, clinical governance frameworks, medical protocols, and all relevant regulatory requirements.
Participate actively in Continuous Medical Education (CME) programs and professional development activities to maintain clinical excellence.
Contribute to the improvement of clinical workflows, operational efficiency, and patient experience initiatives.
Support the achievement of clinic performance goals related to patient satisfaction, service quality, and operational effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), organizational policies, and contribute to service enhancement and problem-solving initiatives.
Undertake additional duties, projects, events, and initiatives as assigned by management in line with the organization’s strategic objectives.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or an equivalent medical qualification recognized by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
Valid registration and eligibility to practice in accordance with local regulatory requirements.

Experience & Skills
Prior experience in General Practice or Primary Care is preferred.
Experience in chronic disease management will be highly advantageous.
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with a patient-centric approach.
Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and digital healthcare platforms.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical governance, professionalism, and continuous learning.
