Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, forward-thinking, and patient-focused General Practitioner / Medical Officer to join our dynamic clinical team. You will handle primary outpatient care, manage acute and chronic conditions, perform minor clinical procedures, and provide empathetic, non-judgmental consultations for sexual health and wellness services.
Mandatory Requirements
Full Registration with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC)
Valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
Key Responsibilities
Outpatient & Primary Care: Conduct thorough clinical consultations, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and chronic diseases across all age groups.
Specialized Sexual Health & Infectious Disease Care: Provide confidential screening, counseling, diagnosis, and management for STIs/STDs, HIV (including PrEP/PEP protocols), and hepatitis.
Clinical Procedures: Perform outpatient procedures including wound care, minor excisions, cryotherapy, non-surgical hemorrhoid banding, Swift microwave therapy, and ESWT pain therapy (on-the-job training provided).
Preventive & Lifestyle Medicine: Lead consultations for medical weight loss management, addiction recovery support (smoking/alcohol/substance cessation), and health screenings.
Patient Advocacy & Safety: Maintain precise digital medical records, ensure strict patient confidentiality, and foster an inclusive, stigma-free environment.
Preferred Qualifications & Attributes
Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience in hospital departments or primary care clinics.
Interest or experience in sexual health, dermatology, or non-invasive clinical procedures.
Excellent communication skills with an empathetic, respectful, and non-judgmental approach to patient care.
Professional fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (additional language proficiency is an advantage).
