Medical Officer (Emergency Department)

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Officer (Emergency Department) to join our dynamic clinical team.

Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality medical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and emergency medical conditions promptly and effectively.
Perform clinical examinations, investigations, and procedures within the scope of practice.
Work collaboratively with specialists, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
Participate in emergency response, patient stabilization, and clinical handovers.
Adhere to hospital policies, patient safety standards, and clinical governance guidelines.
Deliver compassionate, patient-centred care while maintaining professionalism and ethical practice.

Requirements
Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) recognized by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
Valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
Relevant experience in Emergency Medicine is an advantage.
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
Willing to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
