Resident Doctor

Klinik Faizal & Rakan-Rakan is a well-established 24-hour GP clinic in Johor Bahru, with over 30 years of service and two branches. We are seeking a committed Resident Doctor to join our experienced medical team and provide high-quality primary care in a supportive, well-structured environment.

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and outpatient cases across all age groups.
Provide comprehensive primary care with a strong focus on patient safety and quality of care.
Perform minor procedures including suturing, wound management, and other in-clinic procedures.
Provide appropriate treatment, follow-up care, and patient education.
Promote preventive healthcare, health screening, and family wellness.
Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, and clinic assistants to ensure efficient patient care.
Refer and escalate cases appropriately when specialist or hospital care is required.
Participate in structured 7-hour rotational shifts, including day, evening, and night shifts, with fair allocation of nights and rotational weekend off.
Requirements

Essential:
MBBS / MD / MBBCh or equivalent medical qualification from a recognised institution.
Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) with a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
Completed compulsory service with KKM.
Strong clinical judgement and commitment to patient safety.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English; additional languages are an advantage.

Preferred Experience & Interests:

Experience or interest in:
Primary care, emergency medicine, or outpatient care.
Minor surgical procedures and circumcision.
Ultrasound, including O&G 4D/5D.
Family planning and preventive healthcare.
Joint injections and pain management.
Paediatric care and developmental monitoring.

Competitive remuneration: RM10,000–RM12,000 base salary.
