Optometrist / Optician
Job Description
VISTA Eye Specialist is seeking a proactive, patient-focused Optometrist / Optician to join its team and contribute to delivering quality eye-care services. The role offers an opportunity to work closely with ophthalmologists, support patients throughout their treatment journey, and gain exposure to clinical and surgical care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct relevant eye examinations and assessments.
Support treatment planning based on patients’ eye-care needs.
Assist ophthalmologists in the Operation Theatre (OT) when required.
Provide patients with appropriate education, guidance and support.
Schedule appointments for eye examinations and surgeries.
Assist patients throughout the consultation and treatment process.
Participate occasionally in marketing activities, including roadshows and healthcare carnivals.
Requirements
Degree in Optometry or Diploma in Optics.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to converse in Mandarin is an added advantage.
Proactive attitude with the ability to learn quickly.
Patient-oriented and committed to delivering quality service.
Strong team player who is adaptable to a professional healthcare environment.
Meticulous and responsible in carrying out duties.
