Registered Radiologic Technologist

As a Registered Radiologic Technologist at Biomedcare, you will be an integral part of our medical imaging department, playing a key role in capturing high-quality diagnostic images. Your expertise will contribute to the accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and other modalities as required.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns.
• Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain optimal images for interpretation by physicians.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to assess and interpret imaging results.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
• Stay informed about advances in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education to enhance skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
• Valid and current registration as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Proficient in operating radiographic and imaging equipment.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiographic positioning techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) is a plus.
