Infection Control Nurse

Are you a Nursing professional with a strong background in Infection Control? We have an exciting opportunity for you in Quezon City, Philippines. As an Infection Control Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of both patients and employees within our hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise all activities in the hospital related to Infection Control.
• Collaborate with the Health & Safety Officer on health-related concerns of both patients and employees.
• Act as a coordinator to all hospital staff concerning infection control.
• Identify Healthcare Associated Infections (HAIs) and investigate the type of infection and infecting organisms.
• Participate in the training of personnel.
• Assist in the development of Infection Control policies, reviewing and approving patient care policies related to infection control.
• Ensure strict compliance with local, national, and international standard regulations and requirements.
• Provide expert consultative advice to staff health and other appropriate hospital programs regarding the transmission of infections.
• Attend professional meetings and conferences on matters related to infection control.
• Regularly monitor infection control practices and compliance of healthcare providers.
• Monitor staff health in collaboration with the Employee Health Services Department to prevent hospital-related infections among hospital staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduate with a valid PRC license to practice.
• Experience/Training: Preferably with at least 1 year of related experience.
• Knowledge/Skills/Attitude: Good interpersonal and educational background, excellent communication skills.
• Preferably with training in infection control by PHICNA/PHiCs/DOH.
