Job Description

We are seeking a highly competent, compassionate, and results-oriented Nursing Service Supervisor / Nursing Manager to lead and oversee nursing operations while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and workforce excellence. This role is responsible for the effective management of nursing services, supervision of nursing personnel, and coordination of patient care activities to achieve clinical excellence and operational efficiency.

As a key leader within the healthcare team, you will play an essential role in maintaining quality nursing practices, guiding nursing personnel, strengthening patient-centered care, and ensuring seamless coordination among healthcare departments. You will serve as a mentor, adviser, and clinical leader in developing strategies that enhance patient outcomes, staff performance, and healthcare service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Care Management & Clinical Supervision
Oversee and supervise the delivery of high-quality nursing care, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered healthcare services.
Monitor and evaluate Head Nurses’ patient care plans to ensure proper execution and alignment with clinical standards and best practices.
Stay informed about patients’ conditions, healthcare needs, and ongoing concerns to ensure continuity of care and timely interventions.
Reinforce patient and family health education to improve treatment adherence, recovery, and overall well-being.
Verify the implementation of physician referrals, consultations, and interdisciplinary coordination to ensure continuity and quality of patient care.
Serve as a consultant and adviser to Head Nurses, providing guidance in problem-solving, workflow optimization, and the development of effective patient care strategies.
Promote quality assurance initiatives and uphold hospital policies, patient safety protocols, and nursing care standards.
Personnel Management & Leadership
Lead, supervise, and manage nursing personnel to ensure efficient departmental operations and workforce effectiveness.
Interpret and implement standard operating procedures, hospital policies, and updated clinical protocols to ensure compliance and consistency in nursing practice.
Plan, organize, and coordinate the work programs of nursing personnel to optimize staffing and patient care delivery.
Manage scheduling, work assignments, leave plans, off-duty rotations, and workforce allocation for nursing staff.
Evaluate staff performance to ensure professional competence, accountability, and compliance with established nursing standards.
Conduct coaching, mentoring, and counseling sessions to support employee development, improve morale, and address workplace concerns.
Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, discipline, and harmonious working relationships among nursing personnel.
Encourage continuous professional growth and skill enhancement through training and development initiatives.
Operational & Resource Management
Help maintain a safe, clean, organized, and patient-friendly healthcare environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Assess and determine nursing department needs for medical supplies, equipment, and operational resources based on patient care demands and future planning.
Coordinate with maintenance, property, and support departments to ensure the availability and functionality of healthcare equipment and supplies.
Collaborate with hospital administration in identifying departmental requirements and supporting continuous service improvements.
Perform additional duties and special assignments as delegated by management to support organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
Graduate of Master’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent advanced nursing education.
Strong background in nursing practice, nursing services, and healthcare leadership.
Proven experience in nursing supervision, patient care management, or hospital operations is highly preferred.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Strong ability to manage teams, develop staff, and ensure operational excellence in a healthcare environment.
