Clinic Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a proactive, compassionate, and detail-oriented Clinic Assistant to support the smooth day-to-day operations of our clinic. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about patient care, possess strong organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Patient Registration & Front Desk Management
Handle patient registration efficiently and maintain accurate records.
Manage dispensary operations, including medication preparation and coordination.
Collect consultation fees, process payments, and issue receipts accurately while ensuring smooth billing procedures.
2. Customer Service & Appointment Coordination
Professionally answer incoming phone calls and respond promptly to messages, inquiries, and appointment requests.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients with information, scheduling, and clinic-related concerns.
Ensure a seamless patient experience through effective communication and appointment management.
3. Third-Party Panel & Claims Administration
Process and manage claims for third-party healthcare panels and insurance partners.
Ensure proper documentation, timely submissions, and compliance with panel requirements.
4. Clinical & Administrative Support
Assist doctors during basic clinical procedures and patient examinations.
Coordinate and arrange laboratory investigations, follow-ups, and diagnostic tests as required.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of consultation rooms and medical supplies.
Requirements
Preferably 1–2 years of relevant experience in a clinic or healthcare setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach.
Good administrative, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional medical environment.
Basic knowledge of clinic operations, patient handling, and healthcare procedures will be an added advantage.
