Medical Assistant (Clinic & Aesthetic Care).

We are seeking a responsible, friendly, and detail-oriented Clinic / Medical / Aesthetic Assistant to support daily clinic operations and ensure a smooth, comfortable experience for patients. The ideal candidate will assist doctors during consultations and minor procedures, manage front-desk activities, perform basic clinical tasks under supervision, and maintain an organised and patient-friendly clinic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Front Desk Support
• Welcome walk-in patients and provide friendly, professional assistance.
• Register patients, verify personal details, and manage patient queues.
• Schedule appointments, send follow-up reminders, and respond to patient inquiries.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the clinic management system.
• Handle billing, payment collection, and receipt issuance.
Clinical Assistance
• Assist doctors during consultations and minor medical or aesthetic procedures.
• Prepare consultation rooms, medical equipment, and consumables before procedures.
• Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and oxygen saturation (SpO₂).
• Perform basic diagnostic tests, such as urine tests, urine pregnancy tests (UPT), and blood glucose testing, under appropriate supervision.
• Assist with medication dispensing under the supervision of a doctor or authorised senior staff.
• Follow established clinical protocols, hygiene standards, and infection-control procedures.
Clinic Operations & Inventory Management
• Monitor stock levels of medications, medical supplies, and clinic consumables.
• Support inventory management and report shortages when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation throughout the clinic.
• Ensure consultation rooms and equipment are clean, prepared, and ready for use.
• Work closely with doctors and other healthcare team members to support efficient clinic operations.
Job Requirements
• Minimum SPM qualification; a Diploma in Healthcare, Nursing, or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience in a GP clinic, medical centre, or aesthetic clinic is preferred.
• Candidates with aesthetic clinic experience will receive preference.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with 0–2 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of clinic operations and patient handling is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and patient-focused attitude.
• Responsible, disciplined, organised, and willing to learn.
• Able to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
