Job Description
Alpro Clinic Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a compassionate and patient-centred Resident Doctor / General Practitioner to join our growing multidisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality primary care, promoting preventive health, and enhancing patient outcomes through integrated and innovative healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in accordance with evidence-based clinical practices.
Provide preventive healthcare services, including health screenings, vaccinations, disease prevention counselling, and lifestyle modification advice.
Perform minor medical procedures within the scope of primary care practice.
Interpret laboratory investigations and diagnostic reports to formulate appropriate treatment and management plans.
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records within the clinic’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Build and sustain long-term doctor–patient relationships to ensure continuity of care while adhering to the clinic’s policies and standards.
Educate patients on disease prevention, medication adherence, and strategies to improve overall health and well-being.
Deliver empathetic, patient-focused care aligned with Alpro Clinic’s commitment to hospitality, attentiveness, and service excellence.
Collaborate closely with pharmacists and allied healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic patient care.
Support telehealth initiatives, including teleconsultations, blood test reporting, and electronic prescription services (EPS), to enhance access to healthcare.
Facilitate timely referrals and coordinate care with specialists and tertiary healthcare providers when clinically indicated.
Ensure compliance with established treatment guidelines, clinical governance standards, medical protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Participate actively in Continuing Medical Education (CME) and professional development programmes to maintain clinical competency.
Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve clinical workflows, service delivery, and the overall patient experience.
Support the achievement of clinic performance objectives related to quality of care, patient satisfaction, operational efficiency, and business growth.
Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), organisational policies, and quality assurance initiatives.
Undertake additional responsibilities, projects, or initiatives assigned by management in alignment with the organisation’s strategic goals.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
Possess a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC) and fulfil all requirements to practise in Malaysia.
Prior experience in general practice or primary care is preferred.
Candidates with experience in chronic disease management will have an added advantage.
Strong clinical judgement, communication, and interpersonal skills.
