Medical Doctor (Telemedicine) – Subang
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Telemedicine Medical Officer to provide high-quality virtual healthcare services. The successful candidate will conduct online consultations, diagnose and manage medical conditions, prescribe appropriate treatments, and deliver safe, evidence-based care while ensuring an excellent patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive virtual consultations to assess patients, establish diagnoses, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Request and interpret relevant diagnostic investigations when required.
Prescribe medications and recommend treatments in accordance with established clinical protocols.
Develop and implement individualized patient management plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams when necessary.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation for all patient consultations.
Deliver teleconsultation services through My Health Advisor in compliance with telemedicine regulations and clinical practice guidelines.
Educate patients on their medical conditions, treatment plans, and preventive healthcare.
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and patient confidentiality.
Participate in continuous medical education and professional development activities.
Support other clinical responsibilities and service requirements as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) or an equivalent recognized medical qualification.
Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
Possess a valid and current Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in the medical field.
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach.
Comfortable using telemedicine platforms and digital healthcare technologies.
Willing to work 45 hours per week on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
