Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Medical Officer to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary and preventive healthcare services, conduct health screening assessments, and support occupational health initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide continuous primary and preventive healthcare services to individual patients and corporate clients.
Conduct pre-employment and health screening assessments, ensuring accurate evaluation and appropriate medical recommendations.
Generate comprehensive medical and health screening reports, including occupational health assessments and referrals for further investigations when required.
Review and interpret laboratory, radiology, and diagnostic reports to identify health risks and determine appropriate patient management plans.
Stabilize and manage patients requiring urgent medical attention, ensuring timely intervention and continuity of care.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with healthcare regulations and professional standards.
Occupational Health & Quality Management
Support occupational health programs and ensure compliance with occupational health regulations and standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, occupational health specialists, and healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care.
Investigate and respond to patient feedback, incident reports, and occupational health-related concerns with appropriate recommendations and corrective actions.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), clinical guidelines, and operational workflows.
Participate in clinical governance initiatives, quality improvement programs, and performance monitoring activities across the organization.
Community Engagement & Hospital Initiatives
Actively support hospital-led programs and outreach activities, including health talks, medical screenings, vaccination drives, blood donation campaigns, and wellness initiatives.
Contribute to the promotion and business development of the hospital’s Wellness and Occupational Health Programs.
Represent the organization professionally during internal and external healthcare events.

Requirements
Medical Degree recognized by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) with a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
Registered Occupational Health Doctor with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) is preferred.
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in health screening, preventive medicine, or a tertiary acute care private hospital setting.
Experience in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) will be an added advantage.
Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, patient safety standards, clinical governance, and quality management systems.
Proven ability to manage medico-legal matters and resolve patient concerns professionally and effectively.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
