CLINIC ASSISTANT

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinic Assistant / Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient daily operations while delivering excellent patient care and service.

Key Responsibilities
Manage patient appointments, registration, billing, and records using the clinic’s information system.
Perform assigned diagnostic procedures and process clinical requests accurately.
Assist the medical team during clinical emergencies and provide timely support when required.
Educate patients on health-related matters and post-treatment care as appropriate.
Promptly report any critical or life-threatening patient conditions to the attending doctor.
Ensure medical equipment is properly handled, maintained, and ready for use.
Prepare and compile medical reports for health screenings and medical examinations while maintaining accurate documentation.
Monitor medical and office supplies, maintain inventory levels, and coordinate timely replenishment.
Ensure all required patient forms and documentation are completed accurately and filed accordingly.
Handle cash transactions, daily reconciliations, and banking handovers in accordance with clinic procedures.
Maintain the confidentiality, security, and privacy of all patient information.
Coordinate the dispatch of medical reports via courier, registered mail, or direct collection.
Participate in internal and external training programmes to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management.

Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Medical Assistant, Nursing, Healthcare, or a related field.
Previous experience in a clinic or hospital setting is an advantage.
Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Basic computer literacy and experience using clinical or hospital information systems are preferred.
Strong attention to detail, integrity, and commitment to patient confidentiality.
