Job Description
Gan Advanced Osseointegration Center Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant / Dental Nurse to support our dental specialists in delivering exceptional patient care and advanced dental treatments. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of clinical procedures, maintaining the highest standards of infection control, and providing patients with a safe, comfortable, and positive treatment experience.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Assistance & Patient Care
Assist dentists and specialists during general dental procedures, oral surgeries, and other advanced dental treatments.
Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all required instruments, materials, and equipment are readily available prior to each procedure.
Provide compassionate support to patients before, during, and after treatment to promote comfort and confidence throughout their dental experience.
Instrument Sterilization & Infection Control
Clean, disinfect, pack, sterilize, and properly store dental instruments and surgical armamentarium in accordance with established infection prevention and control protocols.
Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and regulatory guidelines to ensure a sterile clinical environment.
Equipment & Laboratory Coordination
Operate dental equipment and assist in the use of specialized devices during treatment procedures.
Monitor and track laboratory cases to ensure timely processing and coordination with dental laboratories.
Manage and maintain dental equipment, supplies, and inventory to support efficient clinic operations.
Diagnostic & Administrative Support
Capture, organize, and maintain patient photographs and radiographs for clinical documentation and treatment planning.
Assist in recording and updating patient information and treatment records accurately and confidentially.
Monitor and document patients’ vital signs when required and promptly report significant findings to the attending dentist.
Emergency & Specialized Procedures
Provide immediate assistance during medical or dental emergencies within the clinic.
Perform blood extraction for Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) procedures in accordance with established clinical protocols and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), or any Allied Health discipline.
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, Dental Nurse, or in assisting with dental procedures is highly preferred.
Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization techniques, infection control practices, and chairside assisting procedures.
Competency in handling radiographic documentation and maintaining accurate patient records.
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach to care.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
