Charge Nurse, Adult ICU & Telemetry

Makati Medical Center (MMC) is seeking a highly skilled, compassionate, and results-driven Charge Nurse – Adult ICU & Telemetry Services to join its esteemed healthcare team. This leadership role is essential in delivering outstanding, patient-centered critical care while ensuring clinical excellence and operational efficiency within the Adult Critical Care Services Units.

As a Charge Nurse, you will take on a pivotal leadership position responsible for supervising, coordinating, and optimizing patient care activities during assigned shifts. You will guide and support nursing staff, ensure adherence to established clinical protocols, and foster a collaborative environment focused on patient safety, quality outcomes, and compassionate healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee nursing operations within the Adult ICU & Telemetry Services during assigned shifts.
Coordinate patient care activities to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based treatment for critically ill patients.
Supervise and mentor nursing staff, ensuring adherence to clinical standards, hospital protocols, and best practices.
Monitor patient conditions closely and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely interventions.
Ensure proper utilization of medical resources, equipment, and staffing to maintain operational efficiency.
Promote a culture of excellence, teamwork, patient safety, and compassionate care.
Uphold Makati Medical Center’s mission, vision, and professional healthcare standards in all aspects of nursing practice.

Qualifications:
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Philippines with an active professional license.
Membership in an accredited professional organization of nurses is required.
Minimum of 18 months (1.5 years) of clinical nursing experience, preferably in critical care, ICU, or telemetry settings.
Must meet the competency standards established by NPCSD, demonstrating the capability and readiness to perform professional nursing responsibilities effectively.
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure clinical environment while maintaining exceptional standards of patient care.
